Mr. FORGHAB Patrick MBOMBA, a Senior Agro-Socioeconomist, is the Deputy General Manager of the National Observatory on Climate Change (ONACC). He is the National Designated Entity (Focal point) of Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN/UNEP-DTU) and also a member of the Steering Committee of the African low Emissions Development Strategy Partnership (AfLP). He was the head of the Monitoring and Evaluation units in the National Agricultural Extension and Research Programme (PNVRA) in MINADER in the North West region and in the Environmental and Social Capacity Building Programme in the Energy Sector (PRECESE) in MINEPDED. He also served as the head of Secretariat of the National Committee on the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).

In addition, he has served in many other capacities in both the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER) and the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED) including, Rural Engineering, Community Development, Environmental Economy in the department of promotion of sustainable development, the Marin, Coastal and Aquatic inspection unit, the Air and Atmospheric inspection unit in the Department of Standards and Control, among others.
